Congratulations on your purchase. You now have access to a wealth of engaging digital content: including a peek behind the scenes into the rehearsal studio; a structured approach to the analysis and interpretation of Charge and a range of workshop ideas; all beautifully illustrated with images and footage from rehearsals and the production.

The resources are designed to be useful to teachers in a number of ways:

  • To support a visit to the production, guiding pupils to look, appreciate and understand more fully the story-line and the meanings and ideas contained in the work (Under the Microscope – Dissecting Charge)
  • To teach students about the creative process and the nature of collaboration. (From Page to Stage – Creating Charge)
  • To increase students’ engagement with the work and develop choreographic and performance technique via progressive practical tasks based on each scene (Playing with Charge)
  • By providing information and signposts that will assist students of Btec Dance in the building of a professional study portfolio.
